About me
Emily- RN, Doula, CLC
My name is Emily! I'm Dominican and Cuban, born and raised in New York. I am a birth and postpartum Doula, trained by Ancient Song Doula Services and The Mothership.
I graduated from Pace University in 2015 with a bachelors in Nursing and previously worked as a full-time bedside RN. I am now working on a per diem schedule and enjoy blending my two roles/career paths.
My experience working in the healthcare industry has helped me realize the kind of resources we lack in our communities and how much confusion exists when it comes to advocating for ourselves, our bodies, and navigating the healthcare system.
I am a daughter, sister, friend, aunt, and a god mother and love being a resource to my community in anyway I can.
My intention is to help you have a happy and healthy pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience while providing support, education, and resources on your parenthood journey.
